The Final Fantasy VII Ultimania Omega is the game's first official guide both edited and published by Square Enix. Following the sucess of its Kaitai Shinsho series, Studio BentStuff rebranded its guidebooks under the name "Ultimania." Having already written a companion to Final Fantasy VII's main scenario, the team decided they would compile a guidebook that went above and beyond helping players clear the game's story. This "Ultimania Omega" would cater to fans who'd already beaten Final Fantasy VII once or many times before. It would teach players how to explore and enjoy every nook and cranny of the game, and how to master its character customization and combat. As such, the Ultimania Omega takes a deeper dive not only into the game's world and lore—featuring hundreds of pages of character analysis, story dissection, and answers to the narrative's mysteries—but also into its gameplay and mechanics, with exhaustive battle breakdowns and challenges for the hardest-core players. Released just months shy of Advent Children's debut, the Ultimania Omega is brimming with energy and anticipation for the long road of Compilation material that lay ahead. Currently, we're more than three-quarters finished with translating and scanlating the non-strategy portions of this guidebook. Please take a look at what we have using the links above.
